frequently asked questions.

  • What are bug bite relief patches?
They are a new way to soothe the irritation and itchiness of bug bites. When you apply a bug bite relief patch to your skin, it not only delivers soothing, natural ingredients to provide relief, but also covers the affected area for protection.
  • Why a patch?
Using a patch format provides a physical barrier against external irritants and scratching, preventing the bite from getting worse.
  • When should I use a bug bite relief patch?
We have seen success when used on all kinds of insect bites, from mosquitoes to ticks to no-see-ums and more! We recommend applying a patch as soon as you notice a bite to prevent it from getting worse. Patches are not recommended for open wounds.
  • Do I need to clean the area first?
A simple soap and water rinse is sufficient to remove any dirt or debris from the bite. Be sure to dry completely before applying the patch. Do not use alcohol on the area as it will prevent the patch from sticking properly.
  • How long does each patch last?
The patches are most effective for up to 12 hours, but can be kept on for as long as is comfortable.
  • Can I swim, shower, sweat, etc. with the patch on?
Yes, the patches are waterproof and will stay on in wet or humid environments.
  • Do the patches work for all ages?
Patches are not recommended for children under two years of age.
